ASFA delegate news
This year, ASFA has put into place new methods to communicate news to club delegates in an effort to promote better communication between ASFA and the member clubs. Since I took over as ASFA delegate earlier this year, this will make it much easier for share ASFA news with the club. The first bit of news that I've been meaning to share since last month is that I have the club's copy of the last issue of FAN. I will bring it to our ASFA trials next weekend and it will be available at the Secretary's table if you'd like to take a look. You may or may not know that FAN is discontinuing in print format and will be continued in an online-only format to be determined. This last issue is a huge issue commemorating the history of the print publication of FAN. At this time, much of the information previously published in FAN, including ASFA trial results, is already available from the ASFA website. To the best of my knowledge, the details about the forthcoming online subscription are not yet available, but I am sure ASFA will communicate the info to the delegates and I will pass it along as soon as I hear.
The second piece of news is that I got a note from ASFA's corresponding secretary asking for nominations for Regional Director for our region. Please see the Nomination form/letter below for more information.

Please don't nominate me for Regional Director. I know I might seem like a logical choice since I already manage the Region 1 website but I am just not able to commit to the amount of travel the position requires. However, please put on your thinking caps and see if you can come up with nominations for this important position.
