In light of the major storms forecast for the rest of the week/weekend, this weekend's WWWA ASFA trials are cancelled. We hate to cancel a trial and obviously here in the NW we run in the rain all the time, but this isn't just about a little rain. It sounds like a pretty damaging storm(s) and given the totality of the situation - weather conditions, travel conditions, judges coming from out of the area at great expense, potential damage to the field and our future relationship with the field owners, not to mention safety of humans and hounds at the event itself - the field committee has made the decision to go ahead and cancel.
