2012 Specialty
7/25 UPDATE: Judging programs are now available 7/15 UPDATE: The cost for puppies at the Western Washington Whippet Association is only $20 for both days. The premium list may be a little confusing. Also, the Sweepstakes includes dogs up to 2 years of age.
WWWA's 2012 specialties will be held Friday, August 3 and Saturday August 4 at Argus Ranch in Auburn, WA, in conjunction with the Western Washington Hound Association shows. There will be four sets of points over the three days, with the two WWWA specialties on Friday and Saturday, and WWHA's two shows on Saturday and Sunday.
WWWA's Friday Specialty show will also offer Sweepstakes, Veteran Sweepstakes, Jr. Showmanship, Obedience Trial & Rally Trial. Jacqueline Quiros-Kubat from Buenos Aires, Argentina will judge all regular and non-regular conformation classes, with Scot Northern from North Liberty, Iowa judging sweepstakes and veteran sweepstakes. Allan Immerman from Olympia, Washington will judge junior showmanship, and all obedience and rally classes.
On Saturday, WWWA's Specialty show will be judged by Wendy Gay of Winchester, VA and WWHA's whippet classes will be judged by Russell McFadden of Espanola, New Mexico.
On Sunday, WWHA's whippet classes will be judged by Anne Gallant of Springfield, Tennessee.
