April 11/12, 2009 WWWA ASFA Results

Our small but tireless performance committee once again hosted successful ASFA trials over the weekend of April 11/12.  Several factors, including the AWC National in Atlanta, as well as several competing local events, kept entries lower than average in quantity, but not in quality! The weather more or less cooperated, and it sure could have been worse! The judges and many exhibitors commented on the relaxed and fun atmosphere, the potluck was well attended with many delicious dishes, and there were plenty of practice opportunities for hounds who were not yet old enough or qualified to compete. Congratulations to Jody Faldborg and members Mary Downing and Christine Hopperstad on their new field champions, and to Carol Chittum and Kendra Brenkert for their whippets' BOB and BIF wins!
