Our Annual Awards dinner will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 with social 'hour' at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m. at Sockeye's Restaurant in Monroe.  This is a very nice restaurant, with a private room and great food.  Prices are moderate-expensive.  Choose from the menu and separate checks.  Come and cheer for our 2008 recipients of the club or member-sponsored awards.  Directions will follow.  This is a change from the previously published date/location.  Hope everyone can come - please RSVP to Mary Downing at whimsywhippets@verizon.net. Directions: Sockeye's is located at 14090 Fryelands Blvd SE in Monroe. From I-5 in Everett, take the exit to Hwy. 2 EAST. Proceed about 13 miles to the first traffic light you will encounter. Turn right (south) onto Fryelands Blvd and Sockeye's is in the 3-story building on your right. Restaurant is on the first floor. Alternately, from the Eastside and Seattle or points South, take the exit off 405 to Hwy 522 going EAST. Follow 522 approximately 12 miles to its end in Monroe at Hwy 2. At the light at the bottom of the ramp, turn right (west) on Hwy 2 and continue straight through the next light.
