I have only had HotRod (QuiXhigh Lightning McQueen RCH, ORC) for 5 months, but what a fun few months it has been.  Due to a toe injury he had to lay off 8 weeks during the race season, but has come back stronger than ever.  Starting at the NAWRA Nationals and NOTRA Whippet Derby he really came into his own again and is running extremely hard and keen.

09-13-08 NAWRA Nationals placed 21st out of 104 adult starters 09-14-08 NOTRA Western Whippet Derby placed 11th out of 95 adult starters 09-27-08 WWWA NAWRA placed 3rd 10-11-08 WCOBC NOTRA placed 5th 10-17-08 WWRC NAWRA placed 4th 10-18-08 WWRC NOTRA placed 2nd (tied on points with meet winner Nacho)

He gave us a little comic relief at the NAWRA meet in Beavercreek 10-17-08 by getting out of his collar & muzzle and running the lure down the track.  Note to self...get a better fitting collar. He is running unbelievably well and I am very proud of his achievements.  Not to mention he is one of the sweetest whippet boys you could ever hope to meet.
